Plunged into Berlin, six Young Israeli immigrants face the past. The city unfolds around them, heavy with memorials of the Holocaust. The German capital shakes them: Painful memories of their childhood in Israel surface, reflecting how their history has been passed down to them and the burden they now carry.
Through discussions and their confrontation with the city, each one in turn becomes aware of this heritage that they strive to overcome. But they are all fascinated and remain captive to the city.
One of them decides to leave Berlin, leaving behind the stone memorials in search of something palpable, the house that his grandparents fled eighty years ago, just a few hundred kilometres East of Berlin.
